[Forget Me] Not
A Four Player Narrative Analog Game About a Mother and Daughter.
About the Experience[Forget Me] Not is a game series collaboration with Sarina Guerra. It is a creative research project inquiring into memory loss and family and what play changes about this conversation.
Right now the series consists of two games and one set of family photos. One is a card game that is similar to Concentration or Memory where the players are trying to match the same image. In this version, players are trying to make it where only the non-altered family portraits remain. The second piece of the series is a two-player board game where one player is trying to protect their memories, and the other player is dementia trying to damage them. After each session of play, the players are asked to explain the rules to the next group of players or leave behind written instructions on how to play. Over time rules will slowly warp or be wholly left out. |
