Utilize Video within a game world

Goals: find a way to use a phone camera video and make something that didn't feel embarrassing. 

Whenever using video, I've found it can be awkward to look at yourself or for players to fully engage right away if there's more onlookers, even if that onlooker is yourself. 

TikTok has become a sensation of dance, and while it can be a lot of self humiliation I wanted to play in the space of recording footage from your phone and creating a dance game. 

Fun things I learned: 

• Using live video from front camera
• Creating a "save" clip of performance
• Rotoscoping in a loose colorful style
